Cheeky the kea is a whirlwind of clever mischief and boundless energy, a true “clown of the mountains.” Growing up in New Zealand’s rugged South Island, Cheeky quickly earned a reputation as a feathered genius and inventor. With an insatiable curiosity, Cheeky would spend hours investigating anything new—be it a shiny tool, a ski lift, or even a hiker’s unattended backpack.
